Cooling Cucumber, Celery & Ginger Drink Recipe

by Melanie Albert, Nutrition Expert & Author, Founder & CEO Experience Nutrition, Official Health & Wellness Partner NFL Alumni

It's still hot here in Phoenix and I'm hearing that it's still warm across the country. It's so important to stay hydrated. So, I created this healthy drink recipe today. This is the very first time I've ever made this and it was so refreshing and delicious.

Inspired by my time in the rainforest in Nosara, Costa Rica where we hosted retreats and where I had the wonderful opportunity to lead Nutrition and Private Sessions at the eco- Harmony Hotel.

Ingredients

  • Organic Persian Cucumbers
  • Organic Celery
  • Organic Ginger Root
  • Sparkling Water
  • Ice cubes

 Simple Steps

Check out Experience Nutrition on Facebook for the step-by-step photos.

  • Chop the cucumbers and celery
  • Grate the ginger root with a micro-grater
  • Put the cucumbers, celery, ginger into the blender
  • Add sparkling water, and some ice to the blender
  • Blend
  • Taste and decide if you need to add any more of the ingredients. I added some more fresh ginger root.

Enjoy the coolness!
